All those verses fit together perfectly like a giant jigsaw puzzle to tell on big story. Joel's writing tells about God's juging the kingdoms of the world and about the setting up of His kingdom.

This fits with Daniel's writing about the stone that breaks the word's kingdoms to become the kingdom of God. 

Joel did not know Daniel. He lived in a different time and in a different place. He had a different kind of schooling. He even wrote in a different language. All the writers were different. But their books fit together to tell the history of the word from Creation to the the new heaven and new earth. They tell the great story of God's redeeming the world and people for Himself.

You know why so many parts fit together in one story? It is because God is the author of the Bible.
